Puritan Preaching

J.I. Packer on Puritan preaching, from Quest for Godliness:
“Puritans preached the Bible systematically and thoroughly, with sustained application to personal life, preaching it as those who believed it, and who sought by their manner to make their matter credible, convincing, convicting, and converting.”
I like the four descriptive words:
1. Credible2. Convincing3. Convicting4. Converting

Psalm Drummers

Check these guys out. I have been playing “Spirit of Unity” nonstop the past two days and Samuel and I played our drums along with the other night and had a blast! You can also pick up their album on itunes if you dig it.
