I’ve been a member of the Junky Car Club for the last 6 months or so and wear my bumper sticker proudly. Just the other day a guy in an old pickup waved at me to roll down my window. I grabbed my window roller thing without the roller (they melted off last summer in the heat!) and he asked me where he could join the club. It’s been a great conversation starter.
Well, as with any junky car owner you have to deal with reality. This morning my car started slipping out of gear. I made it half way home and it’s currently sitting in the Trader Joe’s parking lot Caribou Coffee parking lot (made it another block just now with no resurrection) awaiting judgment. A friend of mine is coming over later today to check it out and we’ll see.
All that said, I have a feeling it may be time for a new junky car. If you have any leads let me know!

dude, me too! mostly people laugh at it, especially with the large bright orange and white sticker pasted on the back window. here’s to junky cars!
