That is the number of people on earth today who have yet to hear the name of Jesus. They don’t even know He exists! The Joshua Project is a great site that gives you all the numbers and highlights the people groups who need the Gospel most.
As the Moravian’s would say, “May the Lamb receive the reward for His suffering” through the salvation of a people from nation, tribe, and tongue!
