This has been an insane week or so. I took an intensive class, celebrated my birthday with great friends and sushi, then found out that we have to move out of our house. The owner’s mom is moving back in and we have until August 31 to be out. So since then we have been looking high and low for a new home. We know the Lord is sovereign and I find myself daily having to be reminded that He is moving us to something better for us.
I was encouraged the other day to read about Paul’s experience figuring out where God was leading him in 16:6-10 -
And they passed through the Phrygian and Galatian region, having been forbidden by the Holy Spirit to speak the word in Asia; and when they had come to Mysia, they were trying to go into Bithynia, and the Spirit of Jesus did not permit them; and passing by Mysia, they came down to Troas. And a vision appeared to Paul in the night: a certain man of Macedonia was standing and appealing to him, and saying, “Come over to Macedonia and help us.†And when he had seen the vision, immediately we sought to go into Macedonia, concluding that God had called us to preach the gospel to them.
And Wes points to a great Martin Luther quote:
“I know not where He leads, but well do I know my Guide.”
