The other day Seth Godin blogged about Jott, a free service that lets you dial a toll-free number, leave a message, and then it emails it to you or anyone else you choose. It types out the text and also provides a link to the audio file.
I’ve been using it for the last few days and it works great! This morning I “jotted” myself two reminders and they were in my email inbox when I got to the office. A lot safer than writing down my idea on scrap paper while balancing my coffee and weaving in and out of traffic.
I’m also looking forward to using it for when I get an idea for a blog post while I’m driving. I can “jott” myself and it will be typed out for me when I get to my computer. Very cool.
