Finished my paper and did my final for my class yesterday then went home and crashed! Shawnda and I watched ‘Runaway Jury’ and relaxed and cuddled. Is that how they choose jury’s? Anybody ever do jury duty?
I love cuddling with my wife!

The Paper is Done!
It’s too Late
Still working on the paper and I just got really stoked because I learned how to insert a footnote by pressing CTL-F and now I don’t have to use the mouse and go up to the menu bar, click INSERT, then Footnote! Nice, real nice!
Paper Update and KVTT
I’m sitting at my kitchen table finishing up my paper on Barak (Judges 4-5) for my Judges to Esther class. Good stuff. I still haven’t landed on whether or not he was really as cowardly as he seems from the text. There is good evidence within the narrative pointing to the fact that he was [...]
New Blog to Check Out
My good friend Dee started a new blog called Cross Cultured. Great stuff so far. I love his heart and passion for the church, diversity, the gospel, and reaching this culture with the Gospel. He is also affectionately known as “uncle Dee” to Samuel and Keziah. Go check it out.

Evangelical Confession Booths
Â
My good friend Jonathan Dodson (you can guess which one he is) wrote a great article called ‘Evangelical Confession Booths’. I think he nails it on the head and every man who is or is not in an accountability relationship with another man or group should read it (and should get with some [...]
My Wife Really is Pregnant
Tonight she asked me to get her ice cream…with Oreo cookies on top!
We didn’t have Oreo cookies (no surprise) so she had me chop up old Hershey Kiss’s. I love my wife!
Gospel Parenting
As our children get older we are finding ourselves dealing with more complex parenting/training issues everyday. Just the last week we were working through how to address our children when they say again and again ‘look at me, look at me’. This is hard because they are often doing something cute and they want your [...]
