I am a pilgrim, sinner, saint, husband, father, son of God, brother of Christ, brother in Christ.

I pilgrimed most of my life in Canada where I was born and raised. Spent a year pilgriming in Australia and the South Pacific when I was 19. It was there God gripped my heart in a powerful way. I returned to Canada and went to a small bible college where God continued to grab hold of me.

During this season I read and was inspired by A.W. Tozer, George Muller, Jonathan Edwards, Charles Spurgeon, and John Piper. Through these men God showed me more clearly He is sovereign and I am not. After graduation I spent the summer working at a summer camp in Western Canada and then pilgrimed to Minneapolis, MN where I was a pastoral apprentice, served on staff as a college minister, and met and courted my incredible, beautiful, Texan wife.

After three cold (too cold for my wife!) and sweet years in the mid-west God led us to Texas (my wife’s homeland) for a year with a desire to practice Deuteronomy 24:5. God sanctified and blessed us beyond our imagining. We then felt God’s call to Charlotte, NC where I again had the privilege of serving in the church for the past year and a half. I now work for a biblical counseling center building church partnerships and doing general administration.

We adopted Samual and Keziah last summer and have never experienced such joy! As a family we love going to the park, singing and dancing in our kitchen together, worshipping at church and spending time with friends.
